Item Description

Plastic model kit for building an Sd.Kfz. 234/4 with a 7.5 cm PaK anti-tank gun

Scale 1:35
Clear and photo-etched parts included
Unassembled, unpainted
Paint and glue not included

The 8-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle Sd.Kfz. 234/4 - much like the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 - was an expedient solution designed to make the 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun mobile, allowing it to be used more effectively in defensive operations. Its 220 hp diesel engine (retained from the original design) enabled a top speed of up to 90 km/h. This speed could be reached in both forward and reverse gears, which is why the vehicle was equipped with two driver stations. A total of approximately 70–90 units were built and deployed.
