M1070 Tank Transporter w/ D9R Bulldozer

The tractor unit of this tank transporter is the Oshkosh M1070 HET (Heavy Equipment Transporter) with the 8x8 drive formula. It has an electronic engine control system to be able to bring the maximum engine power to the ground in every situation. The chassis is also equipped with adjustable air suspension to ensure ground contact in any terrain and to reduce the violent shocks when driving off-road and thus protect the load. Depending on the version, the engine produces 500 hp or 700 hp and transfers this to the wheels via an automatic transmission. The vehicle is just over 9 meters long and 2.60 m wide.
The semi-trailer is an M1000 from DRS Technologies.
The trailer's own weight is around 22,800 kg and its maximum payload is around 63,500 kg. Theoretically, up to 80 tons are possible, but with a significant reduction in top speed. The length is 15.8 meters, the length of the usable loading area is 10.58 meters. The weight is brought to the road with the M1000 trailer using up to 40 hydropneumatically suspended wheels.
The D9R is a heavy bulldozer used by the military.
