The JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) is an armored, all-wheel-drive military vehicle capable of off-road operation. Developed for the US Army and US Marine Corps, it is replacing part of the Humvee fleet. It combines high mobility with improved protection against gunfire, mines, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). It is used for patrols, personnel and cargo transport, and as a weapons platform.

The vehicle family includes versions with two or four seats. Depending on the variant, the payload ranges from approximately 1.6 to 2.3 tons. Modular equipment allows for various roles, such as a multi-purpose vehicle or a heavy weapons carrier. The JLTV was developed by Oshkosh Defense; the follow-on contract for serial production was awarded to AM General in 2023.

The M1101/M1102 Light Tactical Trailer (LTT) is an off-road capable, single-axle transport trailer used by the US military, designed to be towed by the HMMWV ("Humvee"). It is used to transport equipment and supplies both on-road and off-road.

The M1101 is the light payload variant, while the M1102 is the heavy payload variant.
Both models have an empty weight of approximately 662 kg and measure roughly 3.43 m in length and 2.22 m in width. The M1101 carries a maximum payload of 880 kg with a gross weight of approximately 1,542 kg, while the M1102 carries a maximum payload of 1,243 kg with a gross weight of approximately 1,905 kg. Features include independent rubber-torsion suspension, a hydraulic surge brake, two independently operated parking brakes, a military towing eye, and a 24-volt electrical system. The maximum military fording depth is approximately 1.52 m. The M1102 is intended for heavier Humvee variants, such as the M1097 and M1114.
