De Havilland ceased manufacturing in Great Britain and shifted production to Australia, where it resumed to meet RAAF requirements. The British-built aircraft were flown by private owners and flying clubs. Following the outbreak of war, civil aviation was restricted, and the Moth Minors were utilized as trainers or liaison aircraft. One aircraft—originally from Egyptian stock—served as a liaison aircraft for the USAAF in Egypt in 1942. After the war, Moth Minors remained in civilian service until the 1970s, participating in numerous events and races. Some examples remain airworthy today following refurbishment.

- The decals allow for the depiction of the USAAF DH.94 "Sand Fly" from Egypt, as well as the British G-AFTH in two variants: yellow with RAF markings, and in a camouflage scheme as used during the war for liaison duties. Civilian DH.94 options include G-AFOZ and G-AFPN—the former in a cream finish and the latter in an all-silver scheme, both featuring colored trim stripes and race numbers.
