Tatra 27b Holzgas Deutsche Reichsbahn

This kit is highly specific. During the war, the Tatra factory produced a series of wood-gas-powered vehicles for the German Reichsbahn. These vehicles featured an enclosed fuel hopper and—quite unusually—a tarpaulin covering the cargo bed. Although such a configuration could have been a custom modification, photographs confirm that these vehicles were mass-produced at the Kopřivnice plant. The kit includes high-quality plastic parts, a cast wood-gas generator unit, a printed tarpaulin, and the specific fuel hopper. Decals for the distinctive vehicle markings—documented in archival photos—are also included.
