The amphibious biplane "Sea Otter" entered service with both the RAF and the FAA during the war years.
The type was a successor to the well-known and almost iconic Walrus.
It was the last biplane produced by Supermarine and was also to be the very last biplane to enter service with both services.
It was mainly used for reconnaissance and sea rescue missions.
In the post-war years it was also exported to several other countries.
