The Tamiya Mini Cooper 1.3i kit (12031) is a reissue of the iconic British small car in 1:12 scale.

This version features updated decals and revised assembly instructions, as well as additional masking stickers and decals to replicate the interior flooring.

Making its debut in 1959, the "Mini" utilized a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout to ensure spacious accommodation for occupants despite its compact "two-box" body design. This superbly balanced vehicle was refined by British racing legend John Cooper and introduced to the public as the "Mini Cooper" in 1961; the Mini Cooper model was subsequently revived in 1990. Powered by a 1.3-liter engine, the car was also equipped with a fuel injection system starting in 1991. With its charming design, impressive performance, and legendary history, the Mini Cooper is a true automotive gem.
