PLA ZTQ15 Light Tank

The ZTQ15 light tank is a light tank developed by the People's Republic of China, weighing between 33 and 36 tons.
The operational conditions for 50-ton main battle tanks are limited in China.
Its primary role is infantry support and reconnaissance.
It is armed with a 105 mm gun.
This gun is a further development of the Type 81 105 mm gun for the Type 59-II tank, which is a licensed production of the Royal Ordnance L7 105 mm tank gun.
It is also equipped with an unmanned gun mount (RWS) as a secondary armament, including a 12.7 mm machine gun, an automatic grenade launcher, and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun.
The turret's frontal armor is designed to provide the same level of protection as a third-generation main battle tank.
It has a crew of three – a commander, a gunner, and a driver – and is equipped with a CBRN defense system, air conditioning, and oxygen cylinders for high-altitude operations.
It is powered by a 1000 hp diesel engine mounted at the rear, can reach a top speed of 70 km/h, and features twin turbochargers for improved performance in thin-air environments.
