The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23BN ("Flogger-H") is a Soviet ground attack jet with variable-wing propellers, introduced in 1973.
Based on the MiG-23B, it was equipped with the R-29-300 engine, also used in modern fighter jets, and "Type 3" wings.
There were other minor changes to the electronics and equipment, and further modifications were made during the long production run, which lasted until 1985, during which 624 units were built.
