Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 "Lightly-Armed Emil"

Einloggen und Bewertung schreiben
In the first two years of the Second World War, the Messerschmitt Bf 109E was arguably one of the best fighter aircraft in the world, if not the best.
The type was produced in two main variants, distinguished by their armament - the so-called lightly armed type and those with heavier striking power.
The former was equipped with four machine guns, two of them above the engine, the other two in the wings. Production gave the E-1, E-5 and E-6 versions.
