Fast-forward to 2025: In March, Honda announced that its previous flagship model, the CB1300SF, would pass the baton to the CB1000F concept model. Shortly thereafter—in November of the same year—the model went on sale under the designation CB1000F. The design concept behind the CB1000F—the "Best Balance Roadster"—demanded that the motorcycle feel equally at home in a wide variety of riding scenarios, ranging from daily commuting to extended touring. It adopts and modernizes the iconic "Flowing Line" styling—already popularized by its predecessors, the CB750F/900F—in which the bodywork flows seamlessly from the fuel tank across the side panels to the tail section, thereby endowing the motorcycle with its powerful and dynamic silhouette. The round LED headlight catches the eye with a design that is simultaneously modern and traditional; encircled by a ring-shaped light element, it features a chrome bezel and a central insert embossed with the HONDA logo. At the rear, the surface pattern of the seat is inspired by the CB750F, while the eye is drawn to design features such as the large taillight and the exhaust canister, which dominates the right side of the motorcycle. According to some sources, the designation "CB" stands for the "C" in "Motorcycle" and the "B" in "Clubman"; however, one could just as easily argue that this new generation of models stands for a "C" like "Creative" and a "B" like "Benchmark." Either way, it promises every rider hours of carefree riding enjoyment—another icon in a model series rich in such legends.
