FCM 50t — French Heavy Tank (1:72)

The FCM 50t was a French post-war heavy tank project developed shortly after World War II.
The French Army was looking for a replacement for the Panther tanks it had received as war reparations, as well as for the domestically produced ARL 44.
The FCM 50t was designed in late 1945 by Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée (FCM) as an alternative to projects such as the AMX-50. It reflected contemporary concepts of armored warfare and was influenced by German tank designs from the late war years.
However, the project never progressed beyond the design stage and was never built.
