Grumman F-14B BOMBCAT

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, swing-wing fighter developed for the United States Navy and entered service in 1974.
Its primary roles in the US Navy were as an air superiority fighter, reconnaissance, and fleet defense.
The F-14 received its first upgrade to the F-14A Plus (or F-14A+) in March 1987.
The F-14A's TF30 engine was replaced with the improved GE F110-GE-400 engine.
The F-14A+ also received the state-of-the-art RHAW (ALR-67 Radar Homing and Warning) system.
Most of the avionics components, including the AWG-9 radar, were retained.
The F-14A+ was redesignated the F-14B on May 1, 1991.
A total of 38 new aircraft were produced, and 48 F-14As were converted into B variants.
