USAF squadrons flying Texans—nicknamed "Mosquito"—were deployed during the Korean War.
European nations such as France, Spain, Great Britain, and Portugal employed armed Texans in colonial conflicts or anti-communist operations in Africa.
In Greece, Texans saw combat against communist forces. They were used by both sides during the early Arab-Israeli wars. Texans also saw combat action in numerous conflicts, uprisings, and revolutions across South America.
