Leopard 2 A7V 1/48

In May 2017, the decision was made to modernize the German Army's Leopard 2 tanks to the Leopard 2 A7V standard.
Building on the A7, the A7V features additional frontal armor for increased survivability and a new suspension to compensate for the added weight.
The 120 mm L/55 gun was adopted from the A6 variant and, with the latest ammunition, can engage enemy tanks at ranges of up to five kilometers.
Further improvements include a sighting device for enhanced visibility in poor conditions, new tracks, and a new turret basket. 104 existing tanks are being upgraded to the A7V standard; delivery to units began in September 2021.
