BRITISH MAIN BATTLE TANK CHALLENGER 2 TES

This version is equipped with a combination of reactive, passive and grid spaced armour that provides unique protection against new threats on the modern battlefield.
The Challenger 2 TES Megatron can be equipped with variable armour, depending on the type of threat and the battlefield on which the tank needs to operate.

Attached to the front of the gunner's hatch is a remote-controlled "Enforcer" weapon station.
This can be equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun, a heavy 12.7mm machine gun or a 40mm grenade launcher.
It is equipped with a thermal imaging device and can be operated and fired from under the armour.

In addition, state-of-the-art battlefield surveillance systems and digital command and control systems are provided for the crew.
