The 5.5 cm Flak (VG 2), or Gerät 58, was a German anti-aircraft gun project from the final phase of World War II. It originated from the need for a more powerful medium-caliber anti-aircraft gun to fill the gap between the proven 3.7 cm Flak and the heavy 8.8 cm Flak.

The Gerät 58 featured a 5.5 cm (55 mm) caliber and was designed to engage aircraft at medium to high altitudes. Development took place towards the end of the war, with various technical concepts and mountings being evaluated. Due to mounting material and production issues, as well as the end of the war, the weapon never reached full-scale serial production or widespread frontline service.
