Russian Air Defense Weapon System 96K6 Pantsir-S1

Successfully developed in 1994, the 96K6 Pantsir air defense system is a further development of Tunguska and has improved weapon capacity and maneuverability.
It is a combined missile and anti-aircraft gun system against low-flying and extremely low-flying targets.
The main version 96K6 Pantsir S-1, NATO codename SA-22 Greyhound, has been in service since 2008
This weapon system includes two 30 mm 2A38M anti-aircraft guns and 12 57E6 series surface-to-air missiles.
The entire weapon system is based on an all-terrain KAMAZ-6560 8x8 truck.
The Pantsir system has been in service in the Russian army for years and has performed excellently in some local conflicts.
