Bundeswehr Flakpanzer M42 A1 "Duster"

The 40mm SPG M42 or "Duster" was built for the US Army from 1952 to December 1960 and saw service until 1988.
The vehicle used components from the M41 light tank and was made entirely of welded steel.

Almost 500 vehicles were used by the Bundeswehr from 1956 to 1979, where they served with the anti-aircraft troops of the divisions and brigades.

With the upgrade to the A1 version, an improved AOS 895-5 engine with injection system was installed to increase the driving range.
The vehicles also received side skirts and MG3 as secondary armament.
