Bücker Bü 181B / Sk 25 Bestmann "WWII Trainer"

Einloggen und Bewertung schreiben
The Bücker Bü 181 "Bestmann" was selected as the Luftwaffe's standard trainer aircraft in 1939.
It served as a trainer throughout the war; towards the end of the conflict, the type was also deployed in combat roles as a light bomber or for anti-tank operations. Thanks to this service, as well as licensed production in Sweden and post-war manufacturing in Czechoslovakia and Egypt, the aircraft became widely used and well-known. Most units remained in service well into the 1950s, and some still fly today as vintage aircraft.
