Velorex, nicknamed Hadraplan, is a former car brand from Czechoslovakia. Over 15,000 vehicles were built between 1950 and 1973. The special feature of these three-wheeled vehicles was that the front axle had two wheels and the rear axle had one. A tubular steel frame was covered with a synthetic leather-like fabric. Instead of a roof, there was a folding hood. The various engines ranged from 175 cc (11.5 hp) to 250 cc (12 hp) to 350 cc (16 hp). Before production was discontinued in 1973, a four-wheeled model was launched in 1971.
