he Bücker Bü-181 Bestmann was selected as the Luftwaffe's standard training aircraft in 1939.
It served throughout the war, from the early days to the final phase, and was also used as a night reconnaissance aircraft or even for anti-tank purposes.
It is also worth noting that the type was also built in the post-war period in some countries such as Sweden, Czechoslovakia or Egypt, which made the Bücker both widespread and famous.
Most of the aircraft were still flying in the mid-1950s and some of them can still be seen in the skies today.
