Einloggen und Bewertung schreiben
At the 1955 Mille Miglia, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR achieved the fastest victory in the history of the event.
The car bore the car number “722”, which was incorporated into the name of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition super sports car announced at the 2006 Paris Motor Show.
A 5.5-liter supercharged V8 engine was incorporated into the SLR's long-nose, short-cab body design.
Engine output has been increased from 626 hp to 650 hp, while firmer suspension, a 10 mm lower ride height and ceramic front brake discs contribute to greater agility.
This exclusive edition is the pinnacle of driving performance, a level only 150 lucky owners around the world can experience.
In a joint venture with McLaren Automotive, Mercedes designed the SLR or "Sport, Light, Racing" series.
The original SLR series was released in the 1950s and was based on the W196 F1 car.
Because of its power and beauty, the SLR722 has been compared to supercars such as the Enzo Ferrari and the Porsche Carrera GT.
