SU-76M russian Self Propleld Gun

The SU-76M filled an important and particularly urgent Soviet need for an effective self-propelled gun against invading German forces after the start of Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
Based on the chassis of the T-70 light tank, the tank destroyer was production-friendly and 11000 units were produced between 1943 and 1945.
With its 76.2mm ZiS 3 gun, it played a valuable role as a supporting fire and anti-tank weapon.
The SU-76M was characterized by its high mobility and could also be used in close formation with infantry units.
